Broken Consort

A 'broken consort' is an ensemble made up of instruments from more than one family, for example, a group featuring both string and wind instruments.

Concert - 1st December

We had our end of term concert on Thursday night...and after a rather fraught start, we had another wonderful evening of music-making...with some festive favourites, unknown (to us at least!) composers' works, and even some jazz! If you weren't there, here's what you missed:

We then retired to our regular party venue for drinks & delicious food - many thanks to our hosts Angela & Mike!

I filmed the concert, and will be adding the videos to our YouTube Channel over the next week or so (it's not a quick process!)...but in the meantime you will find some new videos of our large ensemble pieces for this term (recorded at our last rehearsal).
