A 'broken consort' is an ensemble made up of instruments from more than one family, for example, a group featuring both string and wind instruments.

Summer Concert

We had a wonderful evening at our summer concert on last night...with an appreciative audience, including a few new faces...and some superb music-making. We were sadly missing Joan on piano, who had a bad fall earlier this week, and cracked her pelvis - we hope you'll make a swift recovery Joan, and be back with us soon! Angela very kindly stood in for her in the small group items - thank you Angela!

I will have some photos soon...our 'official photographer' is just tidying them up, so I'll upload those as soon as I can. I also have a video compilation of most of the concert items (not everything, as I was unable to film whilst I was playing!), but I'm just checking to see if anybody has any objections to it being placed on here for the world to see before I add that!
