Broken Consort

A 'broken consort' is an ensemble made up of instruments from more than one family, for example, a group featuring both string and wind instruments.

Class - 3rd July

In a bid to look more 'polished' at our concert next week, we had a 'dress rehearsal/run'through' for our concert next week...so here's what we played:
  • 'Andante' from 'The Surprise Symphony' by Haydn (Arr. H. Brammer) 
  • 'Waltz' by Shostakovich (Arr. H. Brammer) 
  • 'The Maple Leaf Rag' & 'Marie Antoinette' by Scott Joplin (Arr. H. Brammer) 
  • 'Allegro' from Concerto in D Minor by J. S. Bach (Arr. Jasmine Choi) 
  • 'Air' from 'Sacred Songs & Airs' by J. S. Bach (Arr. H. Brammer) 
  • 'Moderato, Grave & Vivace' from Quartet in G Major by Telemann 
  • 'Andantino & Allegro Assai' from Quintet in D Major by J. C. Bach 
  • 'Overture to Egmont' by Beethoven (Arr. H. Brammer)
